Cyclassics Hamburg

The organisers (ASO Germany) of the Hamburg Cyclassics appeared finally to find the perfect balance between a sprinters' race and a classic in the true sense in 2025, when Rory Townsend's breakaway victory produced a non-bunch finish for the first time in almost 20 years. They have therefore decided to replicate last year's route exactly.\n\nThe Waseberg, with its 700 metres of ramps at 10%, will again be tackled five times. The final two ascents come 27 and 16 km from the finish respectively, so attacks once again sit on a knife-edge.
