Giro d'Italia

Napoli, last year's unfortunate protagonist due to the mass crash that put Jai Hindley out of the race and forced a controversial neutralisation, returns with a sprinters' course offering no major complications before the first big mountain stage.

A volata guaranteed in a new location: the finish no longer comes on the Lungomare, but at Piazza del Plebiscito. Watch out, however, for two factors: a slight uphill on the final kilometer and most importantly some slippery cobblestones near the end.
