Stage info
The last day before the Tour 2026's first rest day, which will take place in the Cantal, shortened by the authorities by 30km due to extreme heat. We reach the Massif Central and the terrain will be ripe for breakaways.
The Mont Bessou, the highest point in the Corrèze area, caps a day with three other Cat. 2 and Cat. 3 climbs where we shouldn't see attacks among the favourites... but this is the 'Grande Boucle', you never know.

There are 10-6-4" at the finish. The intermediate sprint only awards points.
