The decisive day, the toughest of the week, through the heart of the Ardennes near Liège and with a relentless string of climbs, among them the legendary Côte de la Redoute. Unlike the previous days, here the difficulty does come close to the finish: the Aubel circuit includes the Côte de Stockis (1.2 km at 6.4%), with its last ascent 19 km from the line.
