Vuelta a Burgos Féminas

After a year’s absence — in 2025 La Vuelta Femenina finished here but Burgos did not — the race’s defining climb returns: the Lagunas de Neila, with its final 6 km at close to 10%, tackled this edition via the north side up to the non-categorised Alto de Collado.

The summit of Quintanar de la Sierra (1,869 metres above sea level), a village which does not see the race through its streets this year, will be preceded by the Alto de Arroyo (3.2 km, 5.3%) and the Alto de Tolbaños (1.6 km, 7.5%), an approach to the final climb not used in previous editions, which will be crested 19 km from the line.
