The town from which the race starts today will sound familiar to cycling’s most devoted fans: Glyngøre has been Jonas Vingegaard’s home for many years, and he is currently recovering from the crash that forced him to abandon the Tour de France. The 2026 Giro d'Italia winner will attend the start ceremony.
The second stage, once again through central Jutland—the country’s main peninsula—will feature a few short ramps on Skive’s finishing circuit. Barring wind, though, it will be hard to avoid a sprint.
