Code, accounts, sources and attributions
In July 2026, Calendario Ciclismo decided to make its code open source and publish its accounts, as an exercise in transparency intended to show that this project is made purely for the love of cycling.
Premium subscriptions have helped cover servers, tools and maintenance in recent months. Those subscriptions, however, were created as an ad-free system for removing advertising. Advertising itself accounted for only 4% of the project's income.
Advertising occupied space that should have been used for information and added loading processes that could reduce responsiveness on some devices. Keeping it made no sense. Premium therefore ceased to be sold in August 2026.
Founders and Friends
Everyone who paid for Premium helped launch Calendario Ciclismo during its first months, so they permanently receive Founder recognition and a personalised app icon. It can be selected in Settings.
Anyone who wishes to continue contributing can become a Friend of Calendario Ciclismo or make a one-time contribution from the app. Friend requires a new, explicit purchase, separate from the Premium subscription disabled in version 4.3 in August 2026.
Contribution from the web
If you prefer to contribute from the web, you can do so through Ko-fi. This is a voluntary contribution independent of in-app purchases.
