Stage info
This year the Transylvania region will have the pleasure of hosting the world's best team, UAE Team Emirates, and welcome the U23 world champion and fresh Giro Next Gen winner, Lorenzo Finn, two years after Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe won this same race with Florian Lipowitz.
The Romanian stage race opens with a split stage that begins early with a medium-mountain leg. Three passes over the different sides of Călugăru (almost 3 km of finishing climb at 6%), none of them close to the finish, will precede an uphill finish on the city's typical urban cobblestones.
Bonuses
There are 6-4-2" at the finish and 3-2-1" at the intermediate sprints.
