The split stage on day one of the Tour of Sibiu closes with a very short and remarkably twisty individual time trial of barely 3 km through the city's historic centre.
It will be clearly a road-bike time trial, with the particular feature that there will be no following cars. The organisation has set up three roadside assistance points at various spots along the route, so anyone with a mechanical will have to try to reach one of them.
