Stage info
On Monday, as its Swiss leg comes to an end just a few kilometres after leaving Geneva, the Grande Boucle offers a route which, ridden in reverse, would make for a major early test for the general-classification riders. Its final layout, however, may well lead to a reduced or even full bunch sprint.
The opening passage over La Faucille—the first Category 1 climb of this edition—and two other classified climbs in the first half contrast with the gentle final 15 km, following the descent from the Côte de Chaux-Champagny (Category 3), where the first bonus point of the 2026 Tour will be contested.
Bonuses
There are 10-6-4" available at the finish and 6-4-2" at the bonus point. The intermediate sprint only awards points.
